From what vehicles would an AC clutch be able put on my AC compressor? Does it have to be the same size motor?

it could still be what John is suggesting
while the engine is running and the AC is on try lightly tapping on the clutch face with a hammer or something similar, if it engages then you have too much clearance between the friction surfaces of the clutch discs

Sorry for the double post. But I wanted to double check. This is the low pressure switch right? I'm pointing at what I think it is. I found a diagram online and tried to follow it. View attachment 24932
No, the low pressure switch is on the accumulator next to the firewall. If you bypass it and it still doesnt kick in, 9 times out of 10 its the gap in the clutch which is the issue.
