I like the look of these... what’s their thickness? I wonder how they compare to the FX4 ones.Sharing and aftermarket option. RCI Off-road F150 skid plates installed on a Expedition Max Limited 4X4 with Towing Package. Cost is $575 shipped with all hardware and I found a coupon for 5% off that.
3 holes had to be drilled in frame to get the rear diff plate to work(circled in photos).
Very front and 2nd plates attach together with bolt and speed nuts (not in frame and circled in photo) and still very sturdy. Supplied bolts there were trimmed down to avoid any chance of rattle. If needed, could drill frame there too and install speed nuts.
I removed all other shields when installing this. For oil filter access, will have to loosen front two bolts (slotted) and remove back two bolts. There is a oil plan drain plug access door. Pretty easy.

Check out posts 83 and 84 in this thread. Part numbers for the brackets in question are # JL1Z-6G079-A and # JL1Z-6G079-BScott, in this picture there are two side clips that don't seem to be on the parts list.
Do you recall if these side clips included with the shield or are they separate part numbers.
