I did a search and could not find much of anything related to this topic. I just took delivery of a ‘20 LTD 302A. I drove it back home at night and one thing I noticed was that the information display between the Speedo and Tach is very bright relative to the rest of the console lights. I can adjust the infotainment display independently. Is there any way to adjust that information display screen independently? I know you can darken it by adjusting all the console lighting via the button but they seem to dark and the screen to bright. I’d like to be able to darken it slightly and brighten the rest of the dash/console lights. Forscan? Thanks!

Center display brightness cannot be adjusted separately of the whole console. Buttons near the headlight knob is the only setting that changes it.

not electronically

but that’s not the only potential method.

i’m gonna go old school & try put a screen dimming film on it to see if it helps / doesn’t inhibit the static touch sensor.

mostly for the backup camera during nighttime, it’s so stupid blinding bright

He is talking about the screen between the gauges.

The Center Dash screen can be adjusted individually. It is in the settings. It can be made WAY dimmer.

that’s what i get for reading the forum at 1am on the phone!

but i AM gonna do that to the center screen on mine, as the lowest setting is not even close to low enough for me when reverse camera activated. i literally can’t see a thing when it’s on

Well at least I know I’m not crazy if others think it’s bright too. It exposes the downside of all these backlit screens though.

Thanks for confirming everyone!
