I have a ‘22 Max and the C shaped DRL lights seem awfully dim to me now during the daytime. In the reflections of vehicles in front of me, I can’t really see them on anymore. I had my wife drive down the street while I watched and they do look dim. Is there a way to increase brightness or do I need to have them replaced? Still under 3/36 warranty. Would a dealership replace just because they’re “dim”?

if you're in the bumper to bumper, i'd at least try if they are that dim looking.. very least you could compare to another expy on the lot to prove how dim they are hopefully to help push them to replace.

also, just a thought.. I think the DRL's do dim if the headlamps are on. Maybe your lights are on as well? Try checking the knob make sure it's set to auto or off and see if they get brighter?

Sure, so what i'm saying is make sure your headlights are not on and see if the brightness is more when they are off. Even if its daylight and auto, especially this time of year, they could be on. Just as a test.

There is a way to brighten the DRL's with FORScan on the F150. I am not sure if this will also work on these, but worth a try. You can just revert back to whatever is there now if it doesn't work. I've had mine set to 75% for 2 years now with no issues.
