Hey guys anyone put aftermarket 22s on their expy? I wanted to get 24s but I really don't wanna screw up the ride quality. Looking at getting vossen hf61, vps 310t or ferrada ft1s. My question is, is it worth getting 22s? 24s are what give it the good look imo

If you're set on 24s, don't settle at 22.

Will your ride quality suffer? Sure, less sidewall will have an impact but it's not as if you are going to offroad on 24s.

IMO a big wheel suits these, especially the Max version. I have stock 22s which I am putting winter tires on this year and swapping to a fair weather wheel. I find the 22s on my Max a touch too small looking. I will have pics soon of my new set up once the wheels come back from powdercoat, I went with 23s.

The Ferradas you are looking at and the Vossen are all nice options. It's a matter of preference, I've found most on this forum are not into larger diameter wheels so don't get discouraged, I think it will look great.

Thanks for the encouragement man! 23s sound great too but are hard to find? Which ones did you go with?

I see you are in Ontario, you shouldn't be too concerned riding on 24s as our roadways are well kept.

23s are very rare, I got my hands on a set of '08 Saleen F150 wheels which I am soon to get back from powdercoat. Been hunting these wheels down for years and couldn't pass up the opportunity. I felt they would be a great compromise between 22" and 24". Just a touch less sidewall than my stock 22s. Sourcing tires was a bit of work but ended up scoring a new set brought up from the U.S. at a fair price.

Go to 1010tire.com and use the tire size calculator. Put in your stock tire size vs what you want. Will break down all the differences in tire sizes in comparison to your stock size.

I don't see an issue with the size you are wanting. I am going with a 305/40r23 and overall height isn't an issue vs OEM 285/45r22. My 305 series with a front +44 offset will be the only thing when I mount the wheels that I need to check for rubbing during full lock turning. I don't expect an issue but stranger things have happened.
