Does anyone know if the 2013 Expedition headlights will physically fit a 2017 Expedition. I have seen several aftermarket headlights for years up to the 2013 but nothing after that. Thanks!

Nope. The swoop is way bigger on 07’-14’ headlights. 07-14’ ones are overall a bigger housing as well. Ford sold a lot more earlier 3rd gen trucks so there is a lot more demand there for A/M companies...

I'm super sad about this too because I loooooove the look of the 15-17 headlights. The front-end refresh is dead sexy.

Hmm to each their own I actually like the original 3rd gen look better, my absolute favorite were the limited 2nd gen ones, I liked back when they looked just like an F-150 in 03’-06’.

They don't fit unfortunately. I tried with a set from my friends 2015. They are not even close to the same

I want to thank all of you for replying. If any body finds any aftermarket replacements please post or let me know. The thing I don't like about the factory headlights is you can not adjust the high beam if you replace the bulb with an LED. Also, I am going to see if I can find a way to install an LED strip on the bottom as channel looks empty. Thanks Again!

Fit it with HID and you'll likely never use high beams again

You talking about under the light housing between that and the bumper?

This is an earlier gen 3 but I filled the empty area with a profile pivot switchback strip. Parking light is white then switches to Amber when the blinker is turned on. It look blueish in the pic but it's actually pure white

Couple night time shots. They are extremely bright btw. Second one is with the exposure turned way down so I could get a decent picture

Did you retrofit the projector and the Switchback LED strip in the original Headlight or did you buy it that way ?

Gixer;
Did you drill out the back of housing and where did you get the leds from. I have been thinking about drilling a hole from the housing and threading an led strip in but would like to see the ones you used. Also, did they come with switchback feature or is that something you added and how did you accomplish that. Thanks!

The area I was speaking of is inside the headlight assembly on a 2017. There is an amber strip that appears to be hollow. I am going to try and find a used headlight and see how to get access to the amber channel at the bottom from the inside. If anyone has access to a used headlight for a 2017 let me know.

Did you modify the headlights? I don't recall mine light up there on that thin strip.

I have a full bi-xenon projector retrofit setup, the LED strip was added during the build process to light up that strip.
I had a thread about them a few months ago (November I think).
