I have had good luck with these running them daily for a year. They are also my DRL's so quite a few hours on them. Not as white as my led OEM fogs but better and have a better light than the OEM bulbs.

Aftermarket LED installs are not DOT legal in the United States
That is technically correct by way of federal regulation. But..... my Expy just passed state inspection in Texas last month with aftermarket LED headlights and LED fog lights. Sooooo... I don't think there are many states actively enforcing that regulation. You should obviously check with your state if you're considering the switch.

That said, I am running Morimoto LEDs (with integrated fans) and love them. I'll never go back to the crappy halogen bulbs. I've tried the brighter halogens from Sylvania and they looked and performed no better than stock.

2 years now on HID conversion from theretrofitsource.com, put LEDs in the high beams and used Forscan to enable Bambi mode. Yes, drivers will flash me if the high beams are on (in concert with the Low beams and stock LED fogs), but not with the HID low beams. HUGE improvement over stock lights, so much so, I went back and got an HID kit from them for my wife's Toyotal Highlander, which is also excellent and a huge improvement over stock. Both vehicles have projector headlamps.
