Lol makes "sense" I guess....most of the stuff on my old bimmer took SAE tools......

I had HID's come stock in my 2002 SLK and never saw a headlight so bright....but that was also before the advent of LED's. I just swapped over my halogens to LEDS (each bulb is 60watts, 6500k color and 6,000lumens) and the difference is amazing! Total outlay was less than 30 bucks!

You have to be careful though, some unscrupulous sellers will list the bulbs as 60W when what they really mean is EACH one is 30 watts or they will list the lumens as 6K lmns but what they really mean is each bulb is a paltry 3,000 lumens! Also, I found that the manual had a mistake listing the incorrect bulbs for my '17 but it's all in the other thread.
