So I was kinda bored this weekend and started thinking about all the PlastiDip threads I have been reading. "Yeah, that stuff could hide that hideous Eddie Bauer gold that someone at Ford has a HUGE fetish for!!!"

So off to Lowe's I go for some PlastiDip! They had plenty on hand for about $6 a can (no sales tax in Oregon).
Started off with the passenger side.

That all looked pretty good, so it was high time to hide that HUMUNGOUS gold front bumper cap!

Then off to the drivers side.

Beins it was my first attempt with PlastiDip, there was a little learning curve on the masking. I tried to mask like I would with normal paint. Bad idea... LOL The tape just peeled the edges up on the plastidip. Could have just been my newbness though...
But this stuff is pretty amazing! Overspray is not a problem, just wipe it off. You don't like the way it came out, peel it off and start over.
All in all a big thumbs up for the product and I am satisfied with the results.

The best part is if you f-up or decide to do something different, it's easy to fix or change.
