Has anyone replaced their interior bulbs with LEDs? I wasn't going to do it, but my new drop down screen has white LED map lights and they look so much better than the factory incandescents and now I have a mismatch.

My concern is that many of the LEDs have notably less resistance than their old school counterparts. I know my buddy tried to do it in his new explorer and he had all sorts of problems with it afterwards (such as it wouldn't turn on/off at the right times - switched back to the older bulb and the problems went away.

Has anyone changed their bulbs, if so what brand/store did you buy them from?

Likewise what brand HIDs are guys running and having good luck with? I want to avoid the ebay cheapos that break after a year.

Thanks in advance

i have osram ledriving led lights for all interior lights (except glove box currently). They are brighter then all the other stuff out there.
they have 4500k and 6000k color temperatures.
0 problems at all

tried cheap ebay stuff, not as bright but no problems.

i am running hids from The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications
they have a warranty.

i've had 3 led 9 led, pretty much anything thats out there before, and nothing compared to osram ledriving leds, sylvania (osrams sister company) makes them too in 6000k only for cheaper.

Nothing compares to a properly regulated led, these things have built in regulators of some sort.
