Use the used ones left over from drying a load of laundry. It's generally what people around here use for love bugs, though I'd imagine it should work for other critters.

i'll be taking before/after pics for the dryer sheet trick...on a black car too!!!

Just be sure to wash it before hand. Also, try to limit it to the bumper area (and maybe the face of the mirrors).
