Hi All, have a 2017 XLT. This morning I started it and noticed the rear AC was left on from a few days ago. Since it was 28 degrees outside, I quickly turned it off. Drove for an errand. As I re entered, I heard a loud clicking noise from the rear of the vehicle. Engine was off. I couldn’t figure it out and it was too cold to stand around. Drove home.
Just went on another errand and it started clicking after I unlocked the car. And proceeded to click for 30 seconds
Sounds like an electronic motor. Seems to be wanting to close a damper or something in the AC unit.
Does anyone know what it could be? I don’t mind tearing it apart, just not sure what to look for.
