Confused??? air suspension lift

I'm new to the forum so I appologize if this has been asked before. I have an 08 Limited with Air Ride and I want to add a spacer kit to it. I have seen some of the past posts on lifting the air suspension but still has confused me. First, is it front and rear of the vehicle that is air or just the rear? Second,what happens or goes wrong to the vehicle if you add the spacers? If it confuses the sensor, is there a bracket to relocate to trick it? It's my wifes truck so it really wont see any serious dirt roads to drop the suspension, I just want the look.

I don't know if spacers are made for the air ride but you could just fab some up. As for the sensor for the air ride, you would have to lengthen the rod between the frame and suspension

How much lift can you get from the air ride if you tweek the sensors ?

Not sure, but should be about 3 to 4 inches, but I would not go that high.
