If I could get time off, I would help you when you come to Tampa. If you drove the truck here.

its going out so im swapping

Good luck! It's not that hard but it definitely helps to have some help. Just make sure you have the tools you need beforehand. WD40 helps loosen things up. Soak your nuts in it the night before (the ones on the Expy, not your actual nuts, lol).

I did a little more searching and the same air bag setup is used in both the 2nd gen Expy's and the '07-08's. Also I found some air spring to coil conversions that use the same springs so it seems like they might work. If I had an extra $600 I'd try it because I'd like that extra drop but don't want to chance it not working. Give it a try so you can give the rest of us an answer and maybe open up a few more option for lowering kits.

Yeah, I knew you bought your already and if you part it out, it is a lot cheaper. I was just thinking there may be some people who want something they don't have to disassemble and mix a conversion kit with the drop springs and just have the ease of pulling out the old and putting in the new. To be honest, even though I already have springs the thought of just dropping the old and bolting up the new is tempting. The time saved would be worth something. The extra $500? Probably not. But would make for an easy and quick changeover. Then you could sell the stock set and recoup some of the money. It's nice that there is an option like this though.

I can't wait to see the drop on your truck, and hopefully my springs get in soon too. I may cut half a coil to get a little extra drop. Plus I think I am going to switch tires from a 45 series to a 40 series and may give me about another 1/4" drop.
