what did you use on the tails?

It is a Rustoleum tint spray that you can purchase at AutoZone. Works better than niteshades in my opinion. All I did was take them off and clean them with some windex and then I just went at it with the spray can. I did not put a clear coat on top of it.

i like it! thats how my old amp was wired too. till the cables got to tight and ripped out the terminals!! GERRR! o well new amp=better. like your tail lights too. my buddy just did his f1 with nite shades. looks good eitherway. but i would recommend a new back up light(s) since you did spray over your reverse lights. not gonna be able to see backing up once you get the 5% tint. or even now. i can hardly see in dark areas with my lights. thats why i got 2 on my rack. BRIGHT i tell ya.

Thanks Panda. I was thinking about getting an extra set of off road lights to mount on the back whenever I get my four for the front. Where do you think I should put them?

And yes, the 285/65/18's will fit on a stock 4x4 with no lift. My wheels are 18x9.

I want to see 4/5 lights on the bumper. I have 3 6" kcs daylighters there now. I used to run 4 on the front roof rack crossmember, 2 rear facing on the back crossmember and 2 hellas on my bumper. Then I burnt through a battery and decided to stop tempting myself with all that wattage.

you know whats cool about the ones in the back? is that you can slide that cross member forward to the middle, since my ground goes down into the back door. and turn the lights sideways. then you can see to the sides. haha

I really like the black fuel door cover and front grill. I was thinking about doing the same things to mine and seeing how good yours looks has made up my mind. I think these small, dark details add a subtle accent to the whole vehicle.
