2001 Eb expy came to me from a friend , because it will not start it ran fine last week. I went through the basic relay, fuses, and ifs . found no power at drk green yellow wire at switch therefore no power at pnk/blk to pump, also found that fpf pid in scan tool shows yes with koeo which shopkey says broken circuit in pcm, replace pcm just looking for any insight or comments on this before I tell him it needs a pcm any help would be a big help thank you

yes engine cranks , I did jump the ifs switch and pump did not run , so I may have two different problems , I used the wiring diagram shopkey , my main concern is the ifs is not being powered from the truck , but I have continuity from the fuel pump relay terminal to the ifs connector , in further reading I see the pcm tees in off of terminal 87 and terminal 85 of the relay

Pull the Fuel Pump Relay
Have IGN in the run position and see if you have 12 Volts to pin 86 and 30

whay should I have for voltage reading at terminl 85 ? that terminal I believe is some sort of pcm input to close / energize the relay coil

Have you checked for continuity from pin 85 socket of the Fuel Pump Relay to pin 80 on the PCM circuit 926 LB/OG wire

Correct term 85 connects to the PCM to complete the circuit for the Fuel Pump Relay coil

no I have not checked relay terminal 85 to pcm terminal 80 yet , do you happen to know about the fpf pid in scantool reading yes koeo , does that mean a fault in pcm , I am going to get back at it in the am and check that circuit first thing before I go any farther

that was the very first thing I tried to eliminate a bad pump , but it still did not run , so I don't know if I have a bad pump also , I checked the pump and it is not open or shorted to ground
