Does anyone else hate Ford seatbelts?

My chevy and dodge both have the belt buckle at about the left shoulder height where I can reach up with either my left or right hand and pull it easily down across to plug it in. Stupid expy and mustang buckles lay at the bottom so you can't get it with either hand without twisting and straining in the seat to get at it.
That isn't even the worst. The door arm rests come in contact with the side of the seat in both vehicles and the belt stays behind the seat so you have to pull the belt through the resistance and out from between. Then you have to find the bucke and slide it up so you can then finally pull it down across like chevy and dodge does so easily! :banghead:

It's wearing the finish off the side of the seat where it gets pulled through every time.

Never had an issue with mine yet.
Nice part is if I don't feel like putting it on it stops reminding me after 30 seconds.

If you think their bad when they lock up you should try 5 point racing harness after its snugged up.

You guys with no issues obviously don't know any better. I'm not so Blue blooded to admit the other manufacturers have Ford beat in this area.

I will have to check if mine has.... I put seat covers over it first couple days I had it. I would do that to keep it from getting even more worn out. That is if you don't mind seat covers... My Husband hates them....lol

Never a problem with mine. The buckle stays near the top of the strap when not buckled.
I was lucky enough to be wearing mine when I had a wreck when I was 16. Weird thing is, I wasn't wearing it for nearly the whole ride home (30 minutes), but i put it on backing out of a friends driveway after dropping him off. A minute later, I slammed into the back of a car sitting in the middle of the road. Since then, I always wear it. Without the seatbelt, I doubt I would be typing this.
