If you have an iPhone then go with the Pioneer App Radio. It's double din and awesome for the price. If you don't have an iPhone then I would look into one of the cheaper units at Best Buy. They have some pretty nice ones for $300-$500.

Kenwood ddx318 i got mine for $280, touch screen, you can add bluetooth and navigation if you want, ipod/phone hook up, plays dvds, and with the stock amp for speakers it pushes some deafening wattage to my pioneer door speaks.
Got it for xmas and have yet to have a problem with it, except for you have to buy the iphone/pod cable from best buy lol not a big deal

Either Kenwood or Pioneer has some nice fairly cheap units. $400 and under.

My stock 6 disc changer took a dump the other day and that is why im looking for a new head unit. I guess i could get just a normal single din but i was assuming that would look goofy with the giant dash kit that would be needed to fill the gap. Anyone rockin a single din with any input?

Jake, all depends on what do you want to do in the longrun,
1) bluetooth- built in has alot more features than add on bluetooth such as caller ID speed dial and media infofrmation streamed over bluetooth and direct access to phone book
2) dual zone-add rear entertainment later
3) location of usb- do you care if its in the front or rear
4) SD card reader- if you use iphone your usb will be occupied SD can play videos and music up to 32G
5) app mode- allows you to stream netflix and pandora as well as other apps on your deck screen
6) what screen size do you want- full 7" or 5.8" (huge price difference)

with all of these considered

I'm a hardcore pioneer fan but the older app radio had glitches, but the newer one that came out this year is 1000x better, the sonys are a little slow, but there pretty good looking once they catch up

1-pioneer
2-pioneer
3-jvc
4-kenwood

I would get the avh-p3300 ($400) prob find it for like 350 on amazon. bluetooth built in, dual zone, usb, sd card, and you can add navigation module later if you wanted (300).
