I have a 2016 XLT it was a rental and it had no DRLs activated.
I got brave and dove into ForScan for the first time. I was able to successfully turn on Bambi mode I tested it and it worked just fine.
I then set my DRLs to be my parking lights and LEDs. Well it is dark out so I can't quite test them.
What headlight knob setting do the DRLs function on? The 1st setting full off, or the 4th setting Auto??
Yeah, dumb question and should have done it during the daylight but only time I get to do anything productive is after we get the kids to bed.

Either one if it’s daylight. In auto mode during the day your headlamps are not activated which means your DRLS are. At night, if you want to see your DRLS just turn the knob to completely off.

And of course truck has to be in gear so you need a mirror or reflective surface or have someone get in and put it in gear and they will activate.

Thanks.
I did not realize it had to be in gear to activate them. I would have been pissed off for days trying to get it to work. Never would have thought it had to be in gear.
No need to be in gear in our Toyota’s. All my other Fords are to old to have DRLs.
