I am looking at getting a programmer for the expy but can't afford a new cs. There is a regular edge evolution on cl but it is for an 04 f150. The website says that the cs is compatible between the two vehicles. I'm just wondering if the standard evolution is and what the benefits of the evolution can be in mpg's. Thanks

You'll get a couple MPG depending on what's done to your Expy already. I have a CS and love it, but now I would probaly buy a SCT iTSX programmer, because you can get custom tunes put in it.

The regular edge programmer does just about everything the newer ones do. The big difference is really the graphics and the ability to add things like a backup camera. The tunes are the same and as stated above, you'll pick up a couple of mpgs.

The biggest difference is in the trans, it shifts much quicker and firmer. This will prolong the life of your trans.

Called up edge and that particular programmer only works with the 04-08 f150s. I guess I will have to save up my pennies and get a good one. Or get my Honda on the road. Thanks for the response though guys.
