Electric Door Locks Keep Unlocking

Have a 1999 Exped with 95K miles. Everytime we lock the doors, they pop back up again and the internal lights go on along with the running board lights. Sometimes the locks go up and down over and over for a couple minutes. No matter how we try to lock the Expedition, the locks won't stay locked. Tried manually locking, using the door key pad, the remote fob, the "lock" button on the door panel - nothing works. It's possessed. In additiona to this (not sure if it's related or not) the two Auxillary Power ports have gone out. Have consulted the owner's manual and changed 3 fuses, even though only one was burned out which controlled the cigarette ligher. Locks and Auxillary Power ports still don't work. Consulted a Chilton's manual, no help there. Any suggestions from the gurus out there?

Fixed Electrical Door Problem

Owner Update
After lots of trial and error, found the remote fob had a problem. After disabling it, the problem solved itself. Will be getting a new fob.

Excuse my igorance, but what is a remote fob? I have the same trouble with my truck today..
