Yes. That's the one. Unfortunately they don't offer an in-cab controller anymore. I have had it a while now. I like it a lot, especially when we're all loaded up for our trips to ME. It also makes the Expy look like an SUV rather than a station wagon.

Do you find the ride to be harsh? The folks at 4WP said they've had lots of complaints about that. There wasn't any Expedition specific, just general complaints.

Its not bad IMHO, especially considering our Craptastic roads here in PA. I do find that dialed back, the damping is too light for my EL. I found that keeping the settings in the middle is a good compromise when lightly loaded. Ride was great when dialed up and loaded.

I could see where some could think the ride was harsh compared to OEM. It seems like the bushings are harder so you lose some of the initial softness and compliance. Its definitely a more truck like ride but I don't find it objectionable.

Keep in mind that the Ranchos level out the rake and give you about an inch or so lift. That could be important.

I believe Rancho says it will clear 33s. Not sure about the 35s. If you search Bernard has a 3/2 lift and 35s so you may need more than the Rancho leveling kit to fit 35s. I didn't go significantly larger than OEM although my 07 had 255s on it and I went up to 275 or 285s I think so I'm about at about 33 vs 32 for 07 OEM.

I posted pics a while back of the before and after Rancho installation, before I got the new sneakers for the Bus.

Yeah, i probably dont need a 35 anyway. A 285 or 275/60/20 looks pretty good... I was looking at the toyo open country AT. Looks like a good tread and reasonably good in snow for the winter. That or the BFG AT, also very good in snow...

Hey guys i need some help! Sorry to bring up this 4 year old thread lol. In Oct '16 I purchased a 2011 Expedition Limited with 130k. Not sure if i just didnt notice it then or it got worse in the last couple months but i cant take it anymore! Bouncing like crazy over any little bump. Honestly, im not enough of a car guy to know if it has air suspension or not..how can i tell? And if anyone can post a link to exactly what i need to order to bring to my mechanic i would really appreciate it. thanks in advance.

To tell if you have air or regular springs look behind the rear wheels and the front wheels and you you either see coil springs and shocks or the black airbags of the air suspension. If you have air you will also have an air compressor and you will hear that run from time to time. I had a compressor go bad and the front shocks leaked down and it was very bouncy, like driving on basket balls if you just have normal coil springs and shocks your shocks could be worn out.

To test coil springs and shocks push the rear bumper up and down a couple of times and stop the truck should go down and back up and stop. If it continues to go up and down a couple of times the shocks are shot.

If you have air suspension and it has leaked down it will look low in the front or back or both.

I would probably go with OEM quality if they lasted this long, I'd say they are good enough. Most of the guys want to improve handling or load carrying capability so they experiment with different things. It just depends on what you want.

Yep. Bought mine to haul my hobby stuff around. I added a lift and LT tires to make it ride more like a truck and less like grandma's Lincoln. I wish I would've gone with an EL for the extra room

The first one I bought was the short wheel base, the next one was the EL that extra 14" makes a big difference. Most of the time I just have to put the third row down and have plenty of room. Every once in a while i'll put the second row down and cover the gaps.

That extra 14" would make a big difference in the way I load my long guns in to go to the range. I leave the third row down and have an extended Husky Liner cargo liner covering the third row. I still have to put my shotguns in at an angle to get the lift gate closed. A minor inconvenience, until I pack a few buddies in with their guns and gear, too. In that case, I fold the center 2nd row seat down and stack long guns down the middle. Gets kinda cramped.
