I am relatively new to wrenching. I recently got a 2011 Expedition EL limited. I just did a whole bunch of work on it including cam phasers, oil pump, water pump, rubber hoses, lift kit, spark plugs, shocks, O2 sensor, transmission flush, etc. Also put on new wheels and tires (Toyo LT295/70R18). Truck looks great and works great. Scan tool does not show any codes.

Is there any significant benefit from getting PCM flashed or reprogrammed? I reached out to 2 car dealers and both have told me it is not necessary

BTW, getting 12.5 MPG city driving

sounds likes it's still OEM specced other than the lift. a PCM flash would gain nothing.
