Full Stainless Catalytic and Exhaust Systems

Just installed a full Stainless cats and Exhaust on my 08 Expy with 148,430

magnaflow part #49500/49498 cat’s

CGS Exhaust part #70047, would gotten magnaflow but pricey

I have a before and after video of sound, couldn’t download video, but the sound and throttle response will have u smiling every time u put your foot down


This OEM Direct Fit with no modifications and no O2 sensors issue

Hope it holds up well. All "Stainless" isn't alike.

The OEM exhaust is good for over 20 years and 200K miles, while the Walker 'Stainless' lasts maybe 3 years. They even say so on their Web site.

Glad the O2 sensors came out easily. Just wrestled with one in a Jeep for hours.

There's some good stuff out there and a lot of junk. Usually the price sorts them out.

I thought modern exhaust systems were all stainless?
My 2003 hasn't rusted out at all.
Well, the nutz&bolts that hold sections together at a flange ... and the hangers did.
and that weird oil can looking vibration damper thing fell off.

Regardless, love the pictures. Looks like candy.

U right there are good stuff and sometimes u paying just for a name, and get same quality for less just Cadillac Escalade, GMC Denali, and Chevrolet Tahoe all the same, good quality of all three, just a personal preference, and CGS is manufactured out of California, some factory can hold for some years, I just want loses restrictions flow and free up some horsepower

Now that's something I've never heard of but apparently exists.
Never heard of aluminized steel. Dang! Learn something new every day.
Cool ... I like that. I like anything about any kind of metal, except corrosion.
Need to learn how to weld.
