My 2017 Expedition EL has 62,000 miles on it and I'm worried about the inevitable carbon deposit on the back of the intake valves. I learned that the conventional induction system cleaning procedures would result in destroying some delicate fins within the turbo chargers by heated swarm of carbon deposits that would come off the intake valves and its surroundings. So, my questions are:
#1. Is there a safe way and product I can use to clean the intake valves?
#2. I believe installation of the oil catch can avoids the build up of the carbon on and around the back of the intake valves, so which products are the most effective and recommended?
#3. Any other important information I need to know about these kinds of Ford SUVs.
