wanting to paint my whole grill assembly, including the insert black. Need suggestions on process and what kind of paint to use, basically just a temporary fix until I can get the grill assembly that I want. Any helpful suggestions welcomed! Thanx in advance! Btw, 99 expo xlt (if that matters)

If it's chrome, you'll have to scuff it to get better adhesion. Do you want a shiny finish, or an OEM plastic finish. If the matte look, I've had good luck with the Duplicolor.

For the other stuff, just make sure to wash with soap and water (make sure to get all te soap off), let dry. Go over with a lint free cloth to get rid of any dust, then start spray painting. Follow the instructions on the can, and do a light first coat.

Here's what the can looks like: http://www.duplicolor.com/products/trimPaint/
