Hey guys/gals. Might be new to the Exp forums, but not to cars or trucks or suvs. Just thought Id pop in here. Im on plenty of other mustang forums, and one other F150 forum, and then I came across this when looking for a Lightning swap kit or instructions for install. Figured Id sign up.
I just purchased a full on Lightning swap kit from a member on F150 forum. My wifes daily driver is a 2000 Exp EB edition. Black on Tan. Its a nice truck. Lots of miles, but she couldnt pass up the deal on it. Still runs like a champ and I plan on making it better. We used it to tow my race car (89 coupe in sig) to Florida from texas. We had not one issue with it, besides it being a little low on the power to tow. And instead of buying/trading it or my F150 for a deisel, I figure since Im pretty handy around these modulars I could do a cheap blower swap to help with the TQ of pulling a trailer.
Im currently deployed overseas right now, but ill be back in the states shortly to get started on this. Shouldn't be too difficult,I may be new to the blowers, but Im not new to modulars. Some of the past combos Ive done on my cars..
99 GT-2v F1 blower 13 psi-540rwhp
99 GT-NA 32v, Stock longblock-363rwhp
99 GT-P1, low comp, low octane build 12psi-448rwhp
99 GT-D1, low comp, low octane build 18psi- ???rwhp
99 GT-TT, low comp, 15psi-607rwhp, 10s@130mph IRS full weight auto swap
99 GT-Big Bore 32v, ported heads, cams, Sullivan intake- 424rwhp NA
89 LX-Same as above but carbed-437rwhp NA, 592rwhp on spray
These are just my cars/combos Ive had and dynod. Ive built others as well for friends and close 'customers'
I am currently active duty military, going on 15years in and plan on opening my own performance shop when I retire.
Thanks Exp Forums!
