I want the truck to have a nice rumble, but feel the straight pipes will be too much for the youngun. I don't want flow's, since I have those on the Mustang, so am looking for a sort of happy medium, and have come up with these.

Let me know what ya'll think.

*EDIT* I am keeping the single outlet on the passenger side, but am going with a rectangular tip tucked up to the body.

I love my Magnaflow cat-back, even though it's not on the list.

Flowmasters dumped sound like heaven on a mustang..

im partial to spintech mufflers. at freeway speeds around 2k rpm can hardly hear muffler but when you step on it people look.

Really?? That's odd, I've never had drone on any magnaflow exhaust I have ever had.

Same with my flowmaster 44. Quite unless you want to kick it down for some head turning lol

I would only recomend straight pipes, so i cant vote for any of those chioces. I started with flowmaster 40s on mine but they lasted 4months b/c they were too quiet for me.

F-it...I'll try the straight pipes first! If it turns out to be too loud, then I'll worry about a muffler!

Hmmm maybe I will remove my magnaflow muffler and run a straight pipe to see how it sounds...

How bad does straight pipe drone on the highway? I don't care about how loud it is when I get on it but if I can't hear myself think running 60-70 mph then I won't even try it.

my old f150 wasn't bad on the highway straight piped... but I'm just too lazy to remove my 40s and really don't want extra attention for loud exhaust tickets up here...

I have never heard of anyone in Missouri getting a ticket for a loud exhaust. This is the kind of state where you can run header pipes straight out of your hood and probably get by. :jester:

not NY... they love window tint and exhausts.... but during the winter they don't care that you scrape a hole in the snow that is only 4"x4" on leave a foot of snow on your hood and roof.... but guess I am just hating because I want their job...lol
