Headlights come on all the time??

Whenever headlight switch is on auto, headlights come on all the time even during daylight, works fine on all other settings, any ideas?

is something covering the sensor? i have a 2nd gen and mine it's on center of dash by the windshield(blinking light on mine when expy off)

I agree. Check to make sure nothing is over the sensor. I sometimes keep papers on my dash and they will slide over the sensor and keep the lights on.
