Hello all I have a 1997 Ford Expedition with a 4.6 and my problem is I am not getting any heat from the front and the rear is luke warm. This is whats going on both heater core have been flushed and no clogs. The lines that enter both are hot. Both lines that exit are hot but the line that returns to the water pump is cold. I had cut the lines and flushed the heater cores myself. The line that enters bothe heater cores has a 1 piece tee fitting and the return line has a fitting that a garden hoses would connect to so I had to reduce it with a brass fitting. Could that fitting be the cause of the antifreeze not returning to the water pump causing the problem. Thanks for any help it is freezing here in Pennsylvania

Reductions in ID will reduce the amount of flow but not stop it. If the line is cold you have a blockage. If possible, feel along the cold line to where it gets warm/hot. That will be the general location of the blockage.
