HELP! - 2008 Ford Expedition XLT

Hello all! New to owning an Expedition. I just recently purchased a 2008 XLT. Everything works, except, when I open the driver door the radio does not turn off and the door chime/dome lights do not come on. Every other door works. What's thep problem? And how do I fix it?

Sounds like faulty door jamb switch. It's like $20 at the parts store.

Getting to it should be easy enough once you get the door panel off.

2nd that. Could try spraying the heck out of it with WD-40 before replacing it.
Spray it well then shut door several times then spray again....repeat until it works or you get tired and replace the switch.
