How to Take Out 6-Disc CD Changer from Center Console?

My head unit is incompatible with it, and I don't need it anymore and would love to have the extra space...

How the hell do you get this thing out?

That's exactly how it worked on my '01. However, if you are leaving it out, step 4 is the last one you need. I could not believe how much space i had afterward.

Thanks for the instructions, I'll probably try to get it out this weekend or something once I've got the spare time. I could really use that extra space! Seeing the size of the center console in my brothers 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 Turbo Diesel really makes me jealous, lol!

my console is so full of crap if i had that player i would have nothin in there. i think mine came with it, but i dont see anything saying i had one. other then my radio saying cd and "nodj" after i pressed it. so i know it had one from the factory. o well.

I pulled mine today....4 screws (torx head) and 1 plug to unplug and you are done.
