I want auto headlights to turn on lights all the time

I have a 99 EB. I want my headlights to automatically turn on 100% of the time. At work my headlights have to be on while onsite. I covered the little round sensor on the dash w duct tape, and the lights do not come on automatically. They do come on at night tho..... Is there another sensor? Am I covering the wrong sensor? Its the little round one that looks like a photo-cell in the middle of the dash right?

That is funny, I was just thinking the same thing and was going to post the same question today, but I will just piggy back on yours. My expy is a 04. I want the auto lights on all the time because I like in Oregon, and because of all the rain, sometimes it is not dark enough to turn them on automatically, other times I feel like they keep coming on and going off because of the shade from the trees, so it is almost like I am flashing everyone. Plus, I tend to forget if I leave them in the manual on. I know, the dinger lets me know, but at work, I just leave the keys in it.

I read that post before posting mine.... I have a 99, not a second gen. I don't have a little blinking light and what I thought was the light sensor in the middle of the dash doesn't make the lights come on when covered.

Sorry I figured it would be the same as mine which is a first gen like yours, but mine is an '02 EB. Mine has the red light next to the clouded sensor in the middle of the dash which is part of the factory anti theft and I thought that all of the first gen Expy EB's had that. My bad.

Apparantly its the little square thing with slots which i thought was a mic next to the thing that looks like a light sensor.... THANKS!
