Hello
I have a 99 eb that I have had since I was 16 (almost five years). I just found this forum a few days ago and thought I could get some help. Last year I installed a k&n 77 air intake. I had always gotten about 10.5-11 mpg (not that good to start with) but since the k&n I have been getting about 8.5. I was told to not go over 2k rpm and that should help. I have been doing that for the past month but it has only gone up to about 9. I am thinking this is because unlike the stock intake the k&n is open to the engine heat. Is this right or could it be something else? Has anyone else had this with the k&n?
Thanks for your help.
