can't tell what year expy its for but if it fits you can't go wrong with a K&N... I love mine... and for the people that say it just sucks hot air... my edge programmer reads intake air temp and while driving the temp is the same as outside air... sorry for the rant but I would get it if it fits...

Good deal... Yes. Will it fit... No
Judging by the picture, it looks like a 57-2568 which is for the 2006 5.4
If you want the K&N you need 57-2538 for the 03 4.6

57 series FIPK are street legal in all states
63 series FIPK are classified off road use and not legal in all states( thank Ca for that)
77 series FIPK have the polished intake tube
The fact that you are in MI it's not gonna matter which one you might use.

I have the 63 series FIPK on mine and have nothing but praise for it. I'm with walnuts on this, contrary to what other people might say about sucking hot air.

What would be the difference between the two. If its a major problem and wont work then obviously i wont. But if its something little ill make it fit. They said the would tale 80 for it!

The intake tube could have a different bend, shorter/longer length, where the MAF plugs in could be different, crank vent holes might not match up, heat shield differences, support brace might not match up where it's supposed to, different size filter, just to name a few. Still with it all, might be able to make it work. $80 might be good if you want a project, a new cone filter is $50 alone, so it sounds like a great deal.
Here's the one being offered

defiantly can resale it at least to break even... but shouldn't be too hard to modify it to make it work on yours either....
