How big of a difference are snow tires from an all season
How big of a difference are snow tires from an all season
The law demands snow tires (from first of december and last of mars) here in sweden, and it think thats a bless. To many amateurs ends up in the ditch. I use Hakkapeliitta with studs.

i love the snow, we get plenty of it for half of the year. but i have so much stuff i still need to do before it comes.
great video! reminds me of things to come...
what i have to look forward to

Haha I share your sentiments on round-a-bouts... No one here gets how they work, they just barrel in there regardless if there is a car coming round. We just had a little dusting of snow today in MN. Only a matter of time before the first 2 foot storm of the year. Are you a snowmobiler?

I know I'm a little late, but welcome to alaska! I use all season tires on my cars except one that came with studded and they all work good. Just have to give people enough space and brake earlier. Hope you're ready for the cold weather. I don't have a block heater or autostart either. You can get away with not using it as long as you let your car warm up for a minute before you drive it. Last year we have a few heat waves where everything started melting then snowed again. It's really odd for me to see temps fluctuate from -20 to 40 and back within a week or two.

who are we welcoming? i'm born and raised.
no new snow, been seeing alot of freezing rain and some chilly temps before that. i would like to do alittle more snow plowing...pics from the last few weeks.
