Thank you! It's not so much ford tough as it is 'Ford always-having-to-fix-SOMETHING-yet-my-Ex's-2002-F150-has-been-nearly-flawless-for-10-years'. I regret the purchase, frankly. Should have probably gone Nissan.

Wow you know your aren't the first person that mentioned they don't like their 03, because of mechanical issues etc. But everyone I know that has had or has a 97-02 f150/expedition including myself usually never has anything bad to say about their rig, I love mine, and I like that it has a solid rear axle like a traditional truck.

Honestly, except for what I think are better looks, the newer Expy's are worse in terms of 'built ford tough'. I can't see any advantage to the 3V vs my Ex's 2V - most of the time the 2V feels like the stronger engine.

New one and Old one

Made the move today--traded in 2003 XLT (5.4) for a used 2015 EL limited.
Found a great deal and had the wife drive another 2015 earlier in week to convince her how sweet the '15 was compared to the 13s and 14s we were looking at.

Sunny pic was from a couple days ago when I took a look at it to make sure it was in good shape. Second shot is from today's rainy day upgrade.

Till the drag projects are finished, running mine. Cheap graphics just for fun.
Mods? Accel coils, K&N filter, various size tire combinations for trying to cut a decent light, stripe-taker, hi-perf bike rack. Havin fun. Give $1500 for it back in '11.
