I am thinking about putting 2 sets of these lights (4 total) on my roof rack (I like these because they are rectangular and I think would look better than circular ones up top (no offense panda)

And I think these would also look really cool up top

or these ones

I also think it would look cool if I somehow mounted these to my trailer hitch and used them for reverse lights

get driving or off road lights. dont get any fog lights. anything that has a big pattern in the lens. you will be able to see around you really good, but not in front of you. and the spread of off road lights anyways is enough to see around you anyways.

I like to put two driving lights in the middle, and fogs on the outside so you get the full pattern of visibility. as far as style, to each their own. i am a "round light" fellow. never really liked the rectangular lights but hey, they may look good up top. never know till you try it.

I really like the way a set of two or four lights looks on top of these trucks, just amazing.

I'm heading to KY here in a few days, I hope to partake in the huge Hwy. 127 garage sale going on, maybe I'll find myself some new toys.

how would you run the wiring? I've seen a lot of guys run it down the door and under the headliner, and that's cool but I was wondering if there was a way to go right through the roof and get it weather-tight. (maybe a grommet?)

I'm a stickler for trying to hide my work.

But in my opinion any of those would be great choices.

dj, i have the same idea. i hate wires showing. i ran my wires all through the roof rack, then drilled a hole in the b pillar and ran the wires through there, under the steps, and into the cab. for the most part, the wires are hidden but i would still like to see it cleaned up a little bit.
