Locked out - options?

On the 01 expy the code is on the module mounted above the emerg brake its a 5 digit code in ********* numbers

Thanks for that.. took a mirror and a flashlight to find it but it is indeed there.

So, ended up breaking into the truck using the wedges in the door frame and long metal rod method.

I never got around to getting a second key made when I bought it. It's been on my todo list for when I tear into it this winter. I've been barely using the truck lately. It's a "hobby truck".

You'll have to crawl around under there when you get a chance. My 2000 is up there, mechanic at dealer found mine. A neat gadet I saw in a tool book the other day, is a flat air bladder tool, with a squeeze pump on it to spread door to get it wide enough to get lock tools in there. They come in 3 different widths. Made for locksmiths but I think any tech should be able to get one. Pretty cool tool for anyone's toolbox.
