Congratulations! How was the drag race home from the dealership???
I must say two XL versions are pretty much pointless to own, would’ve been better off buyin a pickup for himself .
@Deadman
How many kids do you have? Hopefully at least 2??
what brand did you use on the paint and the wheels?
probably for his job, just needs the extra room to haul around dead forum members that call his wife big.
@Deadman I to am curious who won the drag race on the way home?
Is the black C pillar standard, or is it an added wrap?
It is a piece of plastic. I was considering buying one and trying to install myself. If I remember correctly, the dealership I called gave me a hard time (since I was going to install on an Expy... I slipped. Meant to say mine cracked. Oh well.) they said it was $600 for both sides. My wrap was $100.

I’m curious about your thoughts after driving both. I love our Navigator but haven’t driven an Expy to be able to compare the two. I’ll second the comment about ceramic coating and the wheels, it also helps immensely with cleaning the grill as well. Chem guys make two particular brushes that make a big difference in cleaning those two areas as well.
I have two of these, one for the grill and one for the wheels.
One of these for the wheels.

He carries richer dead peopleWhy do you get the Lincoln and your wife the Ford? Never worked like that when I was married .
Especially on a forum dedicated to these vehiclesWhy can’t we just let people do what they want with their money?
@Deadman went into way more detail than he could have (and maybe should have) concerning his purchase and his family's livelihood.
Can we not just let the man enjoy his new ride and back off a bit?

only for another month or so before fully optioned Escalades start hitting the showrooms with their $130k pricetags
Found my wife a 2018 Navigator L 4x4 Black Label with 15,000 miles, so the previous owner took the financial bath!. It was an Arizona car, so it never saw road salt those 2 years of its life.
I'll do a more in depth write up after my wife lets me log some time behind the wheel! So far, the 3.5L HO feels pretty stout! It was almost at 100mph climbing an on ramp on the test drive! The interior is amazing, especially the seats. Wife LOVES the storage under the front of the center console, her purse fits in there perfectly and its not on the passenger seat or on the floor.
Here's a simple pic I grabbed on the way home from picking it up when we stopped at the babysitters to pick up the kids!
The gross roof rack crossbars will be ripped off it immediately. They look hideous.
