I bought a nav radio that was from a explorer, but must of been a mountaineer... does anyone know how to change the radio to display ford at startup? Or am I stuck with mercury. Thanks

That might be as simple as loading a Ford nav update cd in the radio vs the mercury cd that's in it now. I've never tried it though so not sure if it works. I personally would find the latest update cd for the nav on eBay and pop it in.

This slots right into an expedition dash, plug and play?

would guess if its a 2008 radio, its needing a 2008 cd to update
might try your dealer to log it into oasis and reset..
