Looks like a Ford Edge, I think the first and second gen. Explorer are the best. But, not as good as my 98 Expedition. I also have a 97 Explorer

"The new Explorer will have less towing capacity than the outgoing model -- 5,000 pounds, versus 7,115 pounds -- and it won't offer a V-8 engine." - That sucks for people interested in the explorer. Personally it's too small for me so I would never be interested in one. Also the fact that they decreased engine options in the Explorer isn't good news for people hoping to get a bigger engine in the Expedition. It's obvious Ford is going the MPG route instead of HP.

My biggest problem is this : The most obvious difference: It's built on a car platform, not a truck one.
Um, okay, so now it's a station wagon. Also, I'd like to see that thing actually tow 5000 lbs around. That's a lot of pork!!

It does not look like an edge at all, the front end is a copy of the taurus. I like it alot, and cant wait for the redesign of the expi;)

Think I will keep my 04 Explorer, well it's my wife's, but neither one of us like the new one. Looks like an Edge/Tarus to me, I will pass. To each their own, but this one will not be owned by me.

I am interested to see it. This may perfect for the wife as her lease is almost up on her cx-7. It sounds like what she is looking for. Car-like but with a lot of space and appears to be economical. Again, I would be interested to see - not sure if it would end up in the driveway. She was taking the expy and i was going back in to an f150 but she recently changed her mind. Okay with me-I have become very comfortable in the expy. Thanks for the link, Mike
