Do not like the stock tires on my new Timberline. Will be using it for trips to northern Michigan and wanted the best all weather all terrain tires so can run tear round. Big fan of Nokian tires and decided on the Outpost NAT 265/70R 18. Found them in stock at simple tire and they are shipping to the dealer I purchased the Expy from for an install next Tuesday. Will provide a report after getting some miles on the new tires.

New tire installed and very happy. The truck is more stable in corners, about the same rood noise as stock and will be much better in the snow.

I have been running the Nokian WG4s which ahs been replaced by the WG5s for the last 4 years. 50,000 miles on a set and they are great in dry summer weather but work close to Blizzacks in the snow and ice. The NAT outpost are rated as the best winter weather AT type tire.
We have a cabin in NW part of Michigan and need a tire that will get back to the place with 10" of snow. These should work!

When running these does it have the "snowflake" stamped into the sidewall indicating no need to chain up on mountains out west?

How about road noise on the KO3's?
Quieter than the KO2’s on some of my work trucks and I honestly can’t tell the difference between the GY Wranglers that came stock on my Timberline and the KO3’s now; my wife has them on a new 4Runner and same thing with minimal road noise. You seem to have snow and water with your schedule, the KO3’s shed water very nicely, we just had a lot of rain and they did well. I routinely drive from home in the Keys to Ocala area and Panhandle so minimal road noise is a big consideration for me since this is my office, plus I need good traction when I’m in the mines and good road behavior. I like the GY Duratracs but they’re loud on the road but are awesome in the dirt. Hope that helps.

Have 7500 miles on the Nokians and still very happy with the tire.
Some road noise compared to Michilen LTX AT on my F350 but not asl oud as the stock tire on the Timberline.
Very good in the wet and some mud.
Will see how they handle snow and ice this winter.

What hit have you noticed on mpg compared to stock?
Been a minute since I have visited, late reply. I'm not sure as I put them on after 1200 miles give or take. I drive mostly highway miles and then in muddy quarries a couple times a month and right now I'm averaging 16.7 with 6851 on the clock. I don't get on it enough to make too much difference and I'm usually in sport mode, just like it overall in that mode. I did a trip from Ocala back home to the Keys (400 miles) in eco and was at 17. I had a 2021, non H.O motor with the street tires on prior to this and ran trips the same places, turned it in at 68k and was averaging 18 and change if memory serves.

When you say better handling, would that be less wollow and sway while cornering?

Update on the Nokain tires:
Have 24K and they are wearing good some reduction in tread height but even wear across the face of the tires.
They have gotten slightly louder and similar to KO2's on my Jeep Wrangler at highway speeds.

Note these are stock tire size on 2023 Timberline.

Just came back form a 1700 mile trip and the Nokian are getting noisy!
-Tempted to replace them with a Michelin LTX M&S in a 275-70-18 and upgrade to Bilstein 5100 shocks all around.
95 % of the miles are on the pavement and want a better ride.
Any opinions of running the LTX on the Timberline?
