Hello,
I just bought another 4x4 XLT because of the bad weather in Nashville TN and because of the extra room for my kids car seats.
I used to have a 97 EB 4x4 when they came out... Loved it. No kids and no bad weather then, I lived in Los Angeles and used to go to Glamis or Mt. Baldy or Big Bear for fun.
I build 4x4s and love them. However, this one is for my wife...
I like the auto 4x4 idea, we'll see how it works when it starts snowing again.
My 97' EB had, 2WD, A4x4, H4x4 and L4x4
My 01' XLT has A4x4, H4x4 and L4x4... ???? Whatever, no more 2WD option... I guess FORD thinks they are smarter and there fore took away the choice. (sounds like our new government)
Looking for input on my transmission removal and installation... Any tips on procedure are welcome. Thanks, Jimmy
