I just bought my first Expedition 2009 LXT and just joined this site today.
(second Ford ever after a '68 Torino 25 years ago)
I've been poking around for a couple of hours now, reading about door lock problems. I can't quite find one like mine.
I'm so new to the truck (and Fords in general) that I'm sure the error is somewhere between the button and the seat.
My trouble is that the door switches (both sides) will unlock, but not lock the doors. The fob, key slot in the door, and keyless all work fine to unlock the doors and the fob locks the doors fine, just not the switches.
I can't imagine that BOTH switches are bad? There has got to be a simple answer. If the drivers switch is bad, would it disable the passenger switch?
The actuators seem to work and sound just fine using the fob etc.
I'm really sorry if this question has already been answered somewhere. If so then please simply direct me to the correct post and I'll take it from there.
