Hey guys, new here. Have had a fairly well built Bronco for the last five years, decided to buy an Expedition for some light wheeling. Keep the caged Prerunit Bronco strictly for hard running.

Got a 1998 Ford Expedition, with 122k miles on it. Purchased from the original owner.

Have ever piece of documentation since new, including window stickers, oil changes, tires, maintenance etc.....car was well taken care of.

It's got the following

Green exterior, cloth grey interior
Tow package, full air suspension all around, 373 gears with limited slip, 3 row seating, 5.4l and 4x4. Standa d stereo with 6 disc changer

Love owing to do some minor mods.
Replace the air suspension kit with the Monroe full conversion. 285/70/17 BFGS all terrains, Lightning headlights with projector retrofits, and a nice stereo system with Nav and a JL audio or MTX stealthbox.

A pic of the expo (poor one I know)

Forgot to mention, original owner gave me a full set of extra oem wheels, the exact same ones. Anyone here can't ell me what they are worth? He had them on snow tires for ski trips. I don't need them sitting around in the garage.

Welcome to the forum

Those rims could be worth as much as you can get for them depending on condition

I can find them at the U-Pull-Yards for $25.00

Also check on e-bay to get an idea of what they are going for

lucky, Mine has the willow green cloth. I don't like the color but I've grown used to it since there isn't really much I can do about it. that or I don't care to change the color on a 300k suv I got for $400

The MODS bug is in me.....day 2 of ownership:

Ordered a Double DIN Kenwood head unit and the Monroe 90010 kit to remove the airbags.

Also, a close buddy of mine builds LED kits for interior replacements. He pulled together a kit for me for a pretty decent price. Replaced all the interior map, door and cargo lights with LEDS. Also did the reverse lights with a 5w free projector style LED. Pretty jazzed!! Let the fun begin.

Will do all fluids, balance and rotation this weekend.

I'd kinda like to see that led kit your buddy put together, whether he'd be willing to do it for other trucks (like a 2000 navigator) and how much the kits would cost....

I'll ask Chris. He usually sells these kits for 40-60 bucks. I got all the interior LEDs (two domes, two reading lights, two door lights, four step lights, and two reverse lights). I'm loving them.

Ok, one more update. Went through all fluids and we are in great shape. Truck drives fantastic.

Finished off the stereo upgrade
Did a Kenwood DDX271 double din DVD, MB Quart Reference 6x8 speakers, a MB Quart Mono amp, and the MTX thunderform box. Sounds great!!

I'll take pics of install, as well as the LEDS this weekend, I promise!

Ok, so first pics of the LEDS...my buddy agreed to do kits for an expedition same as mine, if anyone needs different options, need to discuss. My kit came with the two from dome lights, two front door lights, the two rear seat map lights, and the rear cargo. Those bulbs are 27 shipped. Additionally he sold me the reverse lights which includes a 3w projector style bulb for the backups. It's a 3157 bulb. That adds 13 bucks to the cost. So 40 shipped.
