Newby w/new to me,Expy fixr upr

Hello my name is Stan, I recently picked up a 2001 Eddie Bauer from a friend. I bought it cheap knowing it had some issues to resolve. Overall things look good, Solid body, decent interior. The issues , bad tires and a persistant misfire issue. The later is what I need help with. I have tools and some knowledge of machanics, that is to say not a novice, not a pro and willing to take on most mechanical issues. With help I hope to put this Expy on the road!
