Even to remove it right and fast, just a floor Jack, 4- 17 mm nuts, a fuel line, a coil wire and 20 minutes its on the floor. Think expeditions have problems, air cooled vw's were known as putting in a fresh engine every 50-75 thousand miles. We didn't have synthetics, I think I ran 20-50 castrol Dino oil. All they had was a screen for an oil filter. Found out the hard way all those sheet metal pieces around the engine really need to be put back, and right. Excess parts I thought, wrong!
