no turn/brake lites

I bought this 2002 EXP and the rear latch door wouldn't come open due to broken handle.Also,it has no brake/turn lites.When you try to use the turn signals,nothing comes on in the dash,the indictaor lites nor do u hear the click click sound of the relay.I was told it was the bulbs but I knew better.I finally have the door up and both bulbs are good.
So,I have headlites and tail lites,but no turn nor brake lites.also,no noise to indicate the turns are working nor the turn indicator lites on the dash.
any ideas? think it needs both the brake relay at the pedal and the turn relay?

ok,i fiddled with hazard switch and now I have turn and hazards.no brake lites yet

Check the fuse for the stop lamps then for power at the brake switch.

sounds like you have a multi function switch (turn signal switch) going bad....if you try tilting the steering wheel do they work?

Multifunction stalk is your issue. Replace that and see what you have then.

check your turn signal/flasher relay underneath the dash, i just replaced mine and it solved my problem
