number 4 cylinder fail

just got back from the parts store and number 4 cylinder fail, last time this happend i replaced all 8 coil packs. this was 2 years ago, any other thing that could cause this code.

code PO304 number 4 misfire

just got back from the parts store and number 4 cylinder fail, last time this happend i replaced all 8 coil packs. this was 2 years ago, any other thing that could cause this code.

It could be other things such as injector, spark plug, wiring, etc ( I assume the code was for a cylinder 4 misfire). However the most likely and common is the coil pack.

Number 4 is the worst to get to but it's doable. If you are uncertain you can swap out the number 4 COP with one from a front cylinder that's easier to get to. Then if the code follows the suspect COP you know it's the COP before you spend any money. Also make sure you check for a coolant leak were the heater hoses meet the firewall right above number 4. A small leak here is usually the cause of the number 4 failure.

thanks guys just swaped out the coil pack what a ***** took 45 min. for one bolt and a clip only two cuts not bad. going to be posting some stuff about the front end next help if you can THANKS AGIAN, LOVE THIS FORUM!!!
